Gameplan
Leonardo is a mono-white lifegain Voltron payoff who grows every time you gain life thanks to lifelink and his counter trigger. Drop early lifegain engines and aura/equipment, then snowball his stats while Sneak lets you re-deploy him into combat for surprise damage and to dodge removal. You win by connecting with a huge lifelinking, counter-laden commander, often backed by go-wide token support.
Strengths
- Self-snowballing: lifelink feeds his own +1/+1 counters, making combat damage compound fast
- Cheap, evasive recast via Sneak makes him hard to keep off the board and dodges sorcery-speed removal
