Frontier Bivouac

Land

LegalRank #389

This land enters tapped.

{T}: Add {G}, {U}, or {R}.

Why is this card good?

Frontier Bivouac is a Temur tri-land — fixing for any Green-Blue-Red color identity. In three-color decks, fixing is everything, and lands that produce all your colors are the backbone of a consistent mana base. This one is functionally a vanilla "enters tapped, tap for any of your colors" land, which is exactly what most casual and mid-power Temur decks want. The reason to run it is simple: you'd rather have a land that taps for the wrong-but-still-usable color than one stuck producing only the color you don't need this turn. It smooths draws and prevents color screw in a wedge that's notoriously demanding. When to skip it: the tapped clause matters. In faster, more competitive Temur builds you'll prioritize untapped duals, fetches, shocks, and Triomes (which fetch and cycle). If you're tightening to ~36 lands and want every one untapped, the bivouac is among the first cuts. Otherwise, it's a no-brainer auto-include for budget and casual Temur.
