As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice a land.

Search your library for up to two basic land cards, put them onto the battlefield, then shuffle.

Why is this card good?

Harrow is a sneaky-good ramp piece that does more than its mana value suggests. You net one land (sac one, get two), fix your colors with basics, and crucially, the lands enter untapped — letting it function at instant speed during an opponent's end step or in response to a board wipe. That instant-speed flexibility is the key. It dodges land destruction and Armageddon-style stax effects (sac the land in response, find new ones), and triggers landfall twice. That makes it a standout in: - Landfall decks (Omnath, Lord Windgrace, Aesi) — two triggers at instant speed is excellent. - Lands-matter / sacrifice synergies where putting lands in the graveyard matters (Crucible of Worlds, retrace, dredge). - Color-fixing for greedy multicolor green decks. Don't play it if you're not leveraging landfall or instant-speed value — Rampant Growth or Cultivate often advance your board better since they don't sac a land. Harrow's payoff comes from the synergies, not raw ramp.
