Barbara Wright turns your Sagas into instant value engines by giving them read ahead, letting you skip to the most impactful chapter the moment they enter. You curve out enchantments and Sagas while building a white go-wide or value board, then loop or flicker Sagas to repeatedly fire off their best chapters. As a Doctor's companion she's best paired with a Doctor partner to splash extra colors and broaden your Saga toolbox.

Upgrade Path
Add a Doctor partner (e.g. one in a second color) to gain ramp, card draw, or removal that mono-white lacks, and tune the Saga suite to that color. Prioritize flicker enablers (Felidar Guardian, Conjurer's Closet, Eldrazi Displacer) to abuse read-ahead re-entry, and shore up the mana with Smothering Tithe, Land Tax, and fast mana like Sol Ring and Mana Crypt. Finally, include protection (Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention analogs) and a clean wincon so your value engine actually closes games.
