Yukora is a beefy 5/4 for four mana that wants to come down and start swinging in a mono-black aggro or voltron shell, but its real spice is the leaves-the-battlefield clause that mass-sacrifices your non-Ogre creatures. You can lean into beatdown and removal, or weaponize the downside in an aristocrats build where flickering or recurring Yukora repeatedly wipes your own board for value engines. Either way you grind opponents down with efficient black creatures, drain effects, and reanimation.
Add fast mana (Dark Ritual, Sol Ring) and tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor) to assemble your engine sooner, and pick a clear lane—aristocrats or voltron—rather than splitting between both. For the aristocrats route, add free sac outlets like Viscera Seer and recursion such as Reanimate and Animate Dead; for voltron, prioritize protection like Swiftfoot Boots, Whispersilk Cloak, and Lightning Greaves so Yukora's death never bites you.
