Killian, Decisive Mentor

Gameplan

Killian is a BW Auras/enchantress deck that converts every enchantment ETB into a goad, turning opponents' creatures against each other while you build a value engine. Suit up your own creatures with cheap Auras, swing, and draw a card per attacking enchanted creature each combat. You grind the table down with card advantage and goad chaos, then close with a buffed, evasive Voltron threat or token go-wide.

Upgrade Path

Add more enchantress redundancy (Enchantress's Presence, Mesa Enchantress, Verduous-style draw stand-ins from BW like Sythis-adjacent pieces) and cheap protective Auras (Shield of the Oversoul, Hyena Umbra, Snake Umbra) to insulate against removal. Tighten the mana with fast rocks (Arcane Signet, Talisman of Hierarchy) and tutors like Three Dreams and Open the Armory to find your best Aura. For a stronger top-end, lean into a fast Voltron kill with totem-armor protection or add Smothering Tithe and Dockside-style ramp to win before enchantment hate resolves.
