Gameplan
Daghatar is a +1/+1 counters value engine in Abzan colors. You flood the board with counters via proliferate and counter-doublers, then use Daghatar's ability to shuttle counters around for tactical advantage, swinging wide or going tall. Win through overwhelming combat damage backed by counter synergies and anthem effects.
Strengths
- Self-sufficient body: 4/4 vigilance with built-in counter manipulation for just 4 mana
- Abzan's deep counters package (Hardened Scales, doublers, proliferate) is well-supported
- Counter-moving ability enables combat tricks, saving creatures, or activating threshold abilities
- Vigilance lets him attack and still hold down the fort

- Counter-shuffling ability is slow and mana-intensive, and does little if Daghatar dies
